Nếu các động từ(nhóm từ) sau được theo sau bởi động từ khác, thì ĐT đứg sau sẽ ở hình thức V-ing:

Stop, finish, delay,
enjoy, mind, suggest,
fancy, imagine, regret,
admit, deny, advoid,
consider, involve, pracrise,
miss, postpone, risk
Give up
put off
Keep on
Go on
carry on
Eg:
- Stop talking!
- Have u ever considered going to live in another coutry?
....

2. Còn nếu bạn gặp nhữg từ thế này, thì độg từ theo sau nó sẽ chia ở hthức to inf


agrree, refuse, promise, threaten, offer, attempt, manage, fall, decide, plan, arrange, hope, appear, seem, pretend, afford, tend

eg:
- They agree to lend me some money
- The car is too expensive that i can't afford to buy it.

Ngoài ra có một số ĐT mà theo sau nó có thể là ĐT dạng V-ing hoặc To-V, tùy theo mđíh sd và ngữ cảnh mà chọn sao cho thik hợp.
eg: begin, start, intend, continue, try, remember, forget, refuse,...
