Aquatics (Swimming) Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)

The successful applicant will perform the following tasks:
• Assist the PE teachers in the appropriate grade level instruction of swimming/pool curriculum.
• Assist the PE teachers with the assessment of students’ performance during the aquatics program
• Work load to be split between ES and MSHS, at the discretion of the Aquatics Coordinator
• Assist the Aquatics Coordinator to maintain the aquatics equipment and resource
• Prepare swimming pool and other teaching areas as directed by the Aquatics Coordinator
• Assist with curricular and co-curricular swim meets and other special co-curricular events held in the UNIS-Hanoi pool.
• Responsible for learning and using Aquatics related technology software and hardware under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator
• Assist with co-curricular swimming program (ASA)
• Other tasks as required by the Aquatics Coordinator

The successful applicant will possess the following experience and qualities:
• University degree in Sports or Aquatics (Swimming) related discipline
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an international learning environment where English is the primary communication language
• Above-average proficiency in written and spoken English, and English comprehension
• Experience working with children
• Cross-cultural exposure and understanding
• Experience in organizing events and activities
• Cheerful and outgoing personality
• Data and information management skills
